Holly D. Moriarty, D.C.
Dr. Holly Moriarty, who grew up in Newport, Rhode Island, graduated with honors in 1994 from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Prior to enrolling in chiropractor school in 1999, she spent five years in the technology industry. Dr. Moriarty graduated cum laude from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. She has also earned specialty certifications as a
Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) and
Kinesio® Taping.
Dr. Moriarty is also
certified in ART (Active Release Techniques), a state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow have all been treated successfully using this technique. ART is also used to treat top athletes around the country.
As an avid golfer, equestrian, and softball player, Dr. Moriarty has a special interest in sports medicine and understands the need for patients to heal quickly without compromising the integrity of their bodies.
This specialty in sports has lead her to successfully treat many of the professional athletes in our area.
Dr. Moriarty has lectured in a variety of venues and can speak on topics that include injury prevention, muscle strengthening, modern rehabilitation techniques for athletes, low-back pain, and nutrition.
Robert W. Breen, D.C.
Dr. Breen, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, practiced in Manassas, Virginia, at Breen Chiropractic Clinic for 17 years. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of the State of New York and a doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Dr. Breen incorporates a strong emphasis in pain management and rehabilitation in his practice. He is board certified in Chiropractic Neurology and certified in Manipulation Under Anaesthesia. He is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine to practice both chiropractic medicine and acupuncture.
Prior to joining the team at Haymarket Physical Therapy and Chiropractic, Dr. Breen worked with a regional spine center that included physical therapists, surgical and pain-management physicians. He believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to care and feels his training and experience will complement services provided by the other practitioners at Haymarket Physical Therapy and Chiropractic.
Physical Therapy Staff
Catherine Gallagher, MSPT 
Catherine Gallagher graduated cum laude in 1992 from D'Youville College in New York with a Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in Physical Therapy. During her first year of practice, she worked as a traveling physical therapist, primarily treating children with head traumas and orthopedic conditions. She continued this work while traveling throughout the country and practicing in a variety of settings that included outpatient care, acute care, and school-based treatment.
For the past 10 years, Catherine has practiced primarily in Virginia and treated orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and geriatric conditions. She has taken numerous courses to improve her skills in the areas of work hardening, core strengthening, sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, and neurological impairment in children. She has extensive experience working with special needs children.
Sweety Shah, MSPT 
Sweety Shah was born and raised in Mumbai, India. She graduated in 1998 from Mumbai University securing her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. After moving to the United States in 1999, she began studying for her Physical Therapist license and volunteering at Prince William County Hospital's Physical Therapy Center as an assistant. Sweety received her Physical Therapist license in 2001 and began working at Healthsouth treating a wide variety of orthopedic issues, sports related injuries, and post surgical cases.
Sweety joined the Haymarket Physical Therapy & Chiropractic staff in 2008, and continues to take continuing education courses in the areas of shoulder injuries, back injuries, core strengthening, sports injuries and other orthopedic conditions.
Sherie Jackson, LPTA
Sherie Jackson moved to the Northern Virginia area from a small town in Southwest Virginia. She graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 1999 with a Physical Therapist Assistant degree.
Sherie
soon after attained her licensure and began practicing with focus in the areas of orthopedic, geriatric and sports medicine rehabilitation. She is interested in working with neck and back pathologies and has continued education classes to advance her skills in the areas of shoulder, back, core strengthening and other orthopedic conditions.
Eric Campbell, CSCS
Eric Campbell graduated from Amherst County High School in Amherst, VA where he played on the 95-96 Virginia AA State Championship Football team. He attended Bridgewater College as a student athlete, participating in both baseball and football. Eric received his Bachelors degree in Allied Health Sciences with a minor in Athletic Training from Bridgewater College before becoming a certified Golf Conditioning Specialist in 2002. While pursing his PGA teaching card, he earned his CSCS credentials as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.
Eric has been a Personal Strength and Conditioning Coach for the past six years, while managing fitness facilities in Raleigh, NC and Northern VA. He continues to conduct high level speed and agility training for athletes, as well as sport specific strength training. He is an assistant baseball coach at Battlefield High School (hitting instructor, outfield coach), and is the Strength and Conditioning Coach for a program that has produced several Division I athletes and a "2008" MLB Draft Pick.
Christopher Nathaniel, ATC
Chris, originally from Fairfax, VA, graduated from Shenandoah University where he studied Athletic Training and was a member of the cross country and lacrosse teams. In 2008, he received his Master of Science in Athletic Training. He has earned his Performance Enhancement Specialist credentials from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is currently working towards his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the NSCA. Prior to coming to Haymarket Physical Therapy & Chiropractic, he worked as a Personal Trainer and a High School Athletic Trainer.
Shannon Nirich
Shannon was raised in Fauquier County and graduated from Liberty High School in 2004, where she was part of the 2001 Virginia AA State Championship Cheerleading Squad. She went to George Mason University to study Athletic Training and was a member of the Co-ed Cheerleading Team. She was selected to travel and cheer for the 2006 George Mason Men's Basketball Team that went to the Final Four in Indianapolis. Shannon began her interest in Athletic Training after her first ACL reconstruction surgery before attending George Mason. After the second knee surgery, she was able to apply some of her knowledge to her own treatment and rehabilitation and found it very exciting. She graduated from George Mason in January 2009 with a B.S. in Athletic Training and hopes to be able to help other patients and athletes get through their rehabilitation and injuries with her own experiences to share.
Shannon has also increased her sports knowledge by earning her CSCS credentials as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. This summer, she can also be found in the dug out of our local Haymarket Senators baseball team!
Jessica Mawyer, Personal Trainer
Jessie was born and raised in Warrenton, VA. While attending Fauquier High School, she developed an interest in health and personal training. Jessie holds certificates in Personal Training and Group Exercise, which she uses to great advantage working with a variety of patients at Haymarket Physical Therapy & Chiropractic. Her interest in Pilates led her to earn her certificate for the Pilates Mat.
Jessie is currently training for her certificate in Pilates equipment and a certificate in Sports Nutrition. Jessie's passion for fitness drew her to the weightlifting arena where she competes in figure competitions.
Dulaney Washington, Personal Trainer
Dulany was born and raised in Thoroughfare, VA. He graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas, VA, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served for seven years. He then entered into the transportation industry where he worked as a health and safety manager for 20 years. His interest in health and fitness led him to the National Academy of Sports Medicine, where he received his certification as a Personal Trainer in 2007. Dulany is currently working as a Personal Trainer at Gold's Gym in Warrenton and here at Haymarket Physical Therapy & Chiropractic.
Dulany has always had a great interest in sports and training, leading him to devote a large part of his life to reaching out to the youth of the community. He has participated in the Prince William County Basketball Youth League and the Warrenton Youth Sports Club in the capacity of youth coach. He is also an active volunteer at the Joe Gibbs New Life Center located in Bristow, VA.
Massage Therapy Staff
Jennifer Garman, Massage Therapist
Jenny started with massage therapy as a way to work more closely with patients and to enhance the quality of people's lives and health. She graduated from Heritage Institute and received her license in Massage Therapy in 2003. Since that time, she has worked in a hospital setting, chiropractic office, and day spa. Her interest in the different kinds of massage and how they apply to treatment of patients has led her to increase her portfolio of massage techniques. She has taken further training for specializations in deep tissue, Swedish, Lomi Lomi, sports injury, special needs / pediatric massage, and is certified in deep myofascial release. She also has training in orthopedic and myoskeletal massage.
Jenny has worked with Dr. Moriarty for many years as her chiropractic assistant, as well as having a very loyal following of massage clients.
Rashad Davis, Massage Therapist
Rashad Davis always aspired to enter the sports medicine field. At Potomac High School, he became interested in athletic training after sustaining an injury playing sports. He attended Virginia State University, earning his bachelors of science in Pre-Med. Rashad graduated from massage therapy school in 2008. He is focused on helping Dr. Moriarty’s patients and his massage clients by incorporating sports massage techniques with traditional massage. He specializes in deep tissue and relaxation massages and plans to enter graduate school for Physical Therapy in the future.
