Haymarket Physical Therapy & Chiropractic specializes in treating athletic injuries. Emphasis is placed on identifying the cause of the injury, reducing the pain, then strengthening the area so the injury does not return. This aids the patient in returning to their sport quickly and efficiently with minimal loss of training time. Our providers have extensive experience with a large variety of sports techniques and certifications, including Active Release Technique® (ART) , Kinesio® Taping, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists® (CSCS), Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® (CCSP), just to name a few.Our treatment is individualized to each patient and their specific needs. Our multidisciplinary approach allow us to utilize the best practices of each discipline, including sports chiropractic, physical therapy, athletic training, personal training, strength and conditioning, massage therapy and acupuncture. This approach provides the best treatment at each stage of healing.
Our clinic has been chosen to treat many professional athletes in the area. We treat athletes of all ages and skill levels, from the professional level through the beginners who are just learning their sport. Our strength and conditioning team can assist teams in pre-season training by focusing on minimizing injuries while increasing speed and endurance.
Many injuries are complicated in nature; we work with a variety of sports medicine professionals in the community to treat patients and maximize their healing time.
